Delphinus
Delphinus
Latin for dolphin, one version of the story of how this beautiful sea creature earned a place amount the stars is because of the role a dolphin had in carrying a message from the sea god Poseidon to the nymph Amphitrite, one of the Nereids. The dolphin brought Amphitrite to be married to Poseidon and was thus honored with a place in the celestial sky. The subtle angle of this three stone is like a gentle ocean wave, carrying Delphinus across the waters to find Poseidon's bride.
