About

We believe there is beauty and meaning in everything around us. Sometimes it is bold and eye-catching, like the silky deep blue of a sapphire cocktail ring. Other times it is in the subtle details like the sensuous curve of a heavy domed glowing gold band. Our favorite time periods to seek beauty are in the overwhelming romanticism of Victorian symbols, the delicate filigree and metalwork of the Edwardian era, and the structural lines perfectly put together like a puzzle of the Art Deco decade.

We search all over the world for fine jewelry once loved over a hundred years ago. These treasures are carefully inspected to verify metal content and ensure stone integrity. A thorough cleaning process is performed. When you wear a previously loved piece of jewelry, its story will continue after you. Wearing jewelry is so deeply personal. It rests on your skin, the cold metal warming up to your body's temperature as it molds to your every move. This connection allows jewelry to connect us to past memories, emotions, and people in a way no other object can. We are all connected in our shared experiences on this earth, and we hope that you find the next piece of art that will help connect you with those who came before us and those who will come after us.

A lifelong jewelry lover, her formal education prepared her to be a pharmacist but she has always found beauty in the intersection of science and art in the design and selection of diamonds and gemstones. While sourcing and researching stones for her own engagement ring, she also discovered joy in finding unique gems for others as well.

Rebecca’s passion lies in keeping the stories alive of pieces from another time and finding new ways to pass on our history. As a second generation Taiwanese American, she hopes to instill a sense of pride in appreciating our cultural history, especially for her two children.

Rebecca completed the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) Applied Jewelry Professional program at the beginning of 2022 and is currently in the process of completing the GIA Graduate Gemologist program.
